The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) will celebrate the 2015 National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) on 24-28 July 2015 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City with the theme “Philippines: A Science Nation Innovating for Global Competitiveness”.

This year’s NSTW celebration aims to feature world-class innovation technologies of the S&T sectors aligned to the ASEAN Economic Integration. The event will highlight the eight (8) S&T Based Outcomes for agriculture, enterprise development, industry competitiveness, IT-Business Process Management (IT-BPM), e-Government, quality healthcare, education, and disaster preparedness that will help push the country towards national development and competitive advantage in the global economic scenario. Apart from the exhibits, other activities lined-up are technology fora, technology demonstrations, interactive activities, and other special events.

The 5-day event is open to all S&T enthusiasts, students, academicians, researchers, inventors, innovators, professionals and the general public. Admission is free. An online pre-registration is also available at the NSTW offical website http://nstw.dost.gov.ph.
