Nueva Vizcaya – Three students from the province nailed the Junior Level Science Scholarship qualifying exam.  Two from Bayombong and one (1) from Bambang. The examination was held at Nueva Vizcaya State University Bayombong Campus on November 13, 2016. The results was published on December 25, 2016.

The lists of qualifiers from the province includes 1) Queen Marleen A. Balimbin, Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics at Saint Mary’s University, 2) Michael Luis D. Casil, Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering at Nueva Vizcaya State University Bayombong Campus, and 3) Dhom Ryan S. Millanes, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Nueva Vizcaya State University Bambang Campus.

The Junior Level Science Scholarship or JLSS is a program managed by DOST-SEI department. It is exclusively for incoming third year college student enrolled in an identified priority S&T courses. The qualifiers will get to enjoy 2-3 years S&T scholarship. They will be entitled of subsidy in tuition fee and other school fees, monthly living allowance, book allowance, group insurance, transportation allowance (for those studying outside of home province), summer allowance (if required in the curriculum) and post-graduation clothing allowance.
